Current Project

We have an exciting opportunity to help support a local ministry. The Meeting Place Learning Center is an after school program in downtown Cleveland.

Now through March 22, we will be collecting  individually wrapped snacks (goldfish, granola bars, etc). They work to provide students with meals during the program, but also with snacks to send home at the end of the day.

We will also be collecting STUFFED Easter Eggs. If you are able, we are asking for a dozen stuffed Easter eggs to help with their community egg hunt.

Judy Willard, director of The Learning Center, will join us for chapel after spring break to show students where their contributions went.

This is an awesome opportunity for OUR kids to help local kids learn and grow closer to Jesus!

Items can be turned in to your child’s homeroom teacher or the school office!

Ongoing Projects

We are always willing to accept plastic shopping bags for Audrey's Outreach in Brook Park. Bags can be turned in at the school office. Whenever we get a bunch of bags, we will make a delivery to Audrey's.

Recent Projects

Stitching-Sisters.png
Our BCA Community had an awesome opportunity to serve and bless those around us! We partnered with the Stitching Sisters from First Baptist of Elyria. This group creates fidget blankets that are used for children with Autism and adults struggling with the effects of Alzheimer's. These blankets are embellished with items that can help patients calm down or focus. Each embellishment has a specific purpose or skill target.

The BCA students and families went above and
beyond donating material, stuffed animals, snaps, buttons, zippers, and more to provide the Stitching Sisters with material to bless many in need!

BCA families collected food as part of a "Reverse Advent Food Drive." We collected full meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, & desserts to provide a day's worth of food for families. We then delivered one van load of food to the Hunger Center at Parma Lutheran Church and another to the food pantry at Parma Christian Church. We were blown away by the generosity of our BCA family and we able to bless many families in need!

We collected socks and hygiene products for Chrissy’s Cupboard. Chrissy’s Cupboard is a local (Parma & Parma Heights) porch pantry that was created during COVID to meet the growing need in our community due so many pantries closing.

The Bethel Christian Academy family supported Operation Christmas child for years! Our students, teachers, and families gathered enough gifts to send nearly 100 boxes to Samaritan's Purse to bless children around the world at Christmas.
