Chapel Services
Every Wednesday is chapel day! Preschool & Kindergarten students have their own chapel from 9:10-9:25. They stick around to join our 1st-4th graders for worship before going back to class. Our Elementary Chapel (1st-4th graders) spend about 45 minutes every Wednesday morning doing praise and worship, activities, and listening to a message from one of many great speakers. We worship with YouTube videos to engage even the youngest students. Local pastors and missionaries sometimes share a message. Teachers and individual classes also take turns speaking to the students about the gospel. Each week, students who have been caught doing something above the norm are recognized. Mrs. Burnett presents them with a "Eagle Award" from their teacher.
There is a separate chapel for 5th through 8th grade students on Wednesday mornings. This provides an opportunity for the older students to worship their own way and hear speakers more focused on their needs. Local pastors and missionaries, along with Mr. & Mrs. Burnett, the middle school teachers, and an occasional student present a message that is tailored to the needs of the older students. Students are recognized with "Eagle Awards" as well as for standing out amongst their peers in a positive way.
