EdChoice Scholarship

All students in Ohio (outside of Cleveland) are eligible for the EdChoice Scholarship regardless of income. See the chart and information below Unfortunately, families living in the boundary of Cleveland Metropolitan School District are not eligible for the EdChoice Scholarship.

If your family’s household income is at or below 450% of the Federal Poverty Level, you will be awarded the maximum scholarship amount ($6,166.00). The scholarship can only be used to pay tuition. Families who qualify for low-income status (at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines) do not have to pay any tuition beyond the amount of the scholarship. Families applying for low-income status must submit new household income annually. If the private school's tuition is higher than the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship amount and the family does not
qualify for low-income status, the family may have to pay the difference.

If your family’s household income is at or above 451% of the Federal Poverty Level, your student’s scholarship award will be prorated based on your specific percentage of the Federal Poverty Level.
If you have questions about the program or whether you qualify, you can find more information below or contact our Superintendent, Pastor Jeremy Burnett (jburnett@bcakids.org).
