MUSIC DEPARTMENT

A wide variety of techniques and subject matter give students a well-rounded experience in Ms. Prough’s music classes. Students are taught the basics of rhythm, vocals, and instruments throughout their time in class. In middle school, students have the option to take choir, band, or music appreciation. In choir, students learn about parts and harmonies. In band, students learn to read music and play through songs, whether with boom-whackers, tone chimes, or ukuleles!

Middle School Band and Choir perform in the Christmas Program with 3rd-5th Grades and again in the Spring Program with PreK-2nd Grades.
