Military Resources

If you have any questions or need specific assistance, please let us know. There are many resources available for our military families. Here are just a few that we found that we thought may be beneficial. If you know of additional resources that would help others, please share them with us so that we can add them to the list. 

The goal of this site is to provide resources to families and educators throughout the state and beyond. When parents serve, the entire families serve from the youngest to the eldest member. 

Army OneSource, Army Child, Youth and School (CYS) Services works with parents, students and schools to mitigate the challenges resulting from children switching school systems because of family relocation or deployment of a parent.

The U.S. Department of Education’s Military Affairs Team (MAT) is the one-stop-shop resource for all military-connected issues from early learning through post-secondary education.

Both the federal government and nonprofit organizations offer money for college to veterans, future military personnel, active duty personnel, or those related to veterans or active duty personnel.

A website filled with resources for veterans, including housing, military discounts, jobs, education, and more. It even has a guide to free stuff on Veterans Day.

Military OneSource provides a range of support, including confidential non-medical counseling, financial counseling, specialty consultations on education, health and wellness coaching and many other services.

Their mission is "To ensure inclusive, quality educational opportunities for all military-connected children affected by mobility, transition, deployments and family separation." They provide services for parents, students, and professionals.

A support network for military youth who  experience a loved one's deployment. Provides recreational, social, and educational programs for military youth in civilian communities geographically dispersed throughout the state.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to provide support (grants) and recognition to military children. Grants pay for participation in activities that help children cope with stress and anxiety while their parents are recovering or absent.

Their mission is to stand behind the entire military family by providing information and resources related to services and programs for military families.

Connects veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text to receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
