Academic Excellence from a Biblical Perspective.
Keeping your child(ren) as well as our teachers and staff safe during this worldwide pandemic is a top priority. In an effort to do that, there are many precautions in place, and we continue to work with and monitor guidelines from the governor's office, Cuyahoga County Board of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. This page is designed to keep our BCA family informed on the latest information that is available to us. Please let us know if you have any questions.

In response to the state order from the Ohio Department of Health dated September 3rd which requires schools that offer K-12 education to report positive COVID-19 tests and cases for in-person students, faculty, staff, and coaches, BCA has created the following live dashboard available to all parents. This dashboard will be updated within 24 hours of any confirmed test or case of COVID-19 within the student or staff population.
Additionally, in keeping with the above order, if your student is potentially affected by the positive case, you will be notified directly within 24 hours of the case being made known to the Administration.
Please be aware the HIPAA Laws prohibit us from disclosing name(s) or other identifying information related to any confirmed cases of COVID-19. If you have specific concerns relating to your family, please contact your Mr. Burnett in the school office.
Vacation/Travel Warning
Due to the governor's recommendation that Ohioans quarantine if traveling to a state with a "Positivity Rate" at or above 15%, any BCA student or staff who travels to a state at or above 15% will not be permitted to return to in-person instruction until the 15th day after returning from travel to a state with a positivity rate of 15% or higher. (See map.) Students in 1st-8th grades must participate in virtual instruction, while Pre-K & Kindergarten students must pick up work from school to complete during the quarantine period.
*updated 3.3.21
*Kentucky, Mississippi, Oregon, and Texas have experienced reporting irregularities with the total number of tests performed this past week, which means we are not able to calculate an accurate positivity rate.
Additionally, students who travel to any country which is currently at a COVID Risk Assessment Level 2 or Level 3 must also quarantine for 14 days after returning. Students in 1st-8th grades must participate in virtual instruction, while Pre-K & Kindergarten students must pick up work from school to complete during the quarantine period.
